You and your fellow indie devs at Bimble, Inc. have been trapped in the depths of development hell for too long. It's time to throw off the shackles of corporate oversight and make that passion project you've been talking about for months, a game that'll knock their plain black socks off!

There's only one thing stopping you — your CEO is the biggest buzzkill in the world, and has your team members locked up in their departments. It's up to you to recover your files from the company servers, rescue your team, and show the world what you can do!

Escape! from Development Hell was developed by Team ElseWare in seven days for the 2025.1 Brackeys Game Jam with the theme "Nothing can go wrong..." It features original art, music, and sound, as well as more than 5,000 words of original narrative.

Controls
